There are several publications about the 371st Fighter Group which have been released since World War II. All are now out of print, but can sometimes be found with various used book vendors, or possibly in a library.
In 1946 group members had their wartime saga printed as “The Story of the 371st Fighter Group in the E.T.O.,” by Army & Navy Pictorial Publishing, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This 198-page book, well-illustrated is variably known as the group “yearbook,” “war book,” or “blue book.” A copy of the first print in hard cover cloth may occasionally become available for a very pretty penny. A reprint, probably soft cover, was apparently made in the late 1990s, but was sold out by 2001.
